Languages – Arabic (Primary)

What a productive term!

Year 1 students have been learning about fruits and animals. Hands-on activities were incorporated to engage them and deepen their understanding; students enjoyed eating fruits and vegetables while consolidating their knowledge. They also painted zoo animal plasters; they were all very engaged and had a lot of fun.

Year 2 students learnt about different rooms and furniture in a house, and later they learned about zoo animals. They learnt how to use descriptive words such as big, small and tall.

Year 3 students have been learning about supermarkets and the common vocabulary used when shopping. They learnt how to identify the different departments of a supermarket, items we can buy from there, as well as which section within a supermarket they can find particular items. They are now learning about the cities of Mecca and Medina.

I would like to wish my students and their families a fun-filled and happy time this holiday.

Kind regards,
Ms Nabila Khiar
